Jenny qualified from The University of East Anglia with a degree in Physiotherapy Bsc Hons.
From an undergraduate level she took a special interest in assessing and treating patients with Women’s
Health conditions. She consolidated this interest by completing her dissertation on the best treatments
for women suffering from urinary stress incontinence and completed a journal article on pregnancy
related musculoskeletal conditions.
Since qualifying Jenny has been working at Southend University Hospital completing all her core
rotations, enhancing her core physiotherapy skills. She carried out a rotation within women’s health to
further her interest, knowledge and experience. Within this time Jenny assessed and treated a broad
range of women’s health conditions, including pre and post operative gynaecological surgery, taking
antenatal classes, assessing and treating patients suffering from different types of continence
problems, patients suffering with musculoskeletal pains antenatal and postnatal, and finally treating
patients post mastectomy. Jenny has also completed rotations within respiratory, outpatients, hand
therapy and orthopaedics which all help to contribute to the women’s health clientele.
