Sarah is a Chartered Physiotherapist who graduated in 2002 from the University of Hertfordshire. She is experienced
in treatment of all musculoskeletal disorders and has worked in private practice for the last 9 years in clinics in Essex.
Sarah started work at Southend Hospital in 2002 where she completed basic junior rotations. Sarah was promoted to a
Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in 2004 and gained experience in lower limb rehabilitation, hydrotherapy,
chronic pain management, spinal pain management and osteoarthritis management.
Sarah has been working in the field of Hand Therapy since 2005 and is Hand Therapy Team Leader at a local NHS
Hospital working closely with the leading Hand Specialists in Essex. Sarah is a member of the British Association
of Hand Therapists (BAHT) and has completed postgraduate Hand Therapy (BAHT validated) courses to increase her
knowledge and skills in this field. Sarah is experienced in the fabrication of custom made hand, wrist and elbow
splints. Sarah has specialist clinical experience in treating GP referrals, orthopaedic and plastic surgery patients
as well as rheumatology patients with hand and upper limb problems.
Sarah also has postgraduate training in the McKenzie treatment approach which is widely used for the treatment
spinal problems. Sarah completed a specialist course in the management of Work Related Upper Limb Disorders (WRULD) in 2014.
